Dr Deepashree R., MD, DNB, MNAMS, is Assistant Dean–Research at JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER), Mysuru. An active researcher and academic, she has 62 publications in national and international journals and has been an invited speaker at 46 academic programmes, including at leading institutions such as JIPMER and AIIMS. She is a recipient of the Young Researcher Award (2023) and Best Teacher Award (2025). She has authored and edited multiple academic books in antimicrobial stewardship, infection control and medical microbiology. Her work spans research capacity building, antimicrobial resistance, evidence implementation in healthcare, and strengthening collaborative and interdisciplinary research.
