Prof. Pramod Garg is the Head of the Department of Gastroenterology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He is currently the President of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology. He is an internationally renowned physician-scientist with seminal contributions to pancreatic disease research. He has developed newer, more effective therapies for patients with pancreatitis. He has published >250 original articles, including several seminal papers in prestigious journals such as JAMA, Lancet group of journals, Gastroenterology, and Gut. He is a fellow of all 4 national science societies: FNA, FASc, FNASc, and FAMS. He is the ‘Editor-in-Chief’ of the international journal ‘Pancreatology’. He has been invited by various scientific societies to deliver lectures at major international conferences.
